Overview
A 3D origination places elements of the design at different apparent depths, so the image has a foreground and a background that shift against each other as the sticker is tilted. It is the most immediately convincing hologram type to a non-expert — the depth is obvious in a way that a flat pattern is not — which makes it a good choice where the person checking is a retailer or a customer rather than an inspector.
