What to include
A quotation is only as good as the brief. These are the five things that decide the price and the material.
- Size and shape — finished dimensions, and whether it is a plain rectangle or a custom profile
- Quantity — the run size, and whether you expect repeat orders
- The surface — glass, PET bottle, corrugated carton, powder-coated steel, and whether it is curved
- The environment — indoors, outdoors, chilled, frozen, oily, washed down
- How it is applied — by hand, or on an automatic applicator (tell us the machine if you can)
What happens next
- We reply within one working day with a price and lead time
- We recommend a facestock and adhesive, and explain why
- We make a sample on the real material for you to test
- Nothing goes to press until you have approved a digital proof
