Overview
Conventional rotogravure packaging needs engraved cylinders, which makes short runs and frequent artwork changes uneconomic. Digital printing removes that cost entirely: there is no tooling, so a thousand pouches costs what a thousand pouches should, and changing the design between runs costs nothing at all. It is the practical route for new products, regional variants and seasonal packs.
